This week we continue with the cause and effect essays, but this time I show you the prewriting stage, you can use a free writing or a clustering
Focus on Causes
General topic: Why a small percentage of people read newspaper today
Specific topic: Why don't young people read the newspapers?
Introduction
Although today's youth are supposedly more educated than ever, it does not seem that keeping up to date with current affairs is within their priorities for these three causes, lack of motivation, lack of attention and lack of habit.
P1- Lack of motivation
One of the main reasons is the boom in Internet use.
Interest in the Internet is directed more to other uses, such as entertainment, than to reading the news.
P2- Lack of attention
Newspapers are excessively politicized and lack objectivity.
They know the news only through television or social networks.
P3- Lack of habit
Young people spend a large part of our free time surfing the net.
Young people do not know how or where to inform themselves correctly with the news.
Conclusion
Our low interest in reading in general leads us to wonder who will read newspapers in the future.
Focus on effects
General topic: The effects of pollution in my country
Specific topic: Factory smoke
Introduction
Pollution from factories affects, air and causes diseases, in addition to producing changes in the weather.
P1- Air pollution
It affects the quality of the air we breathe.
P2- Diseases
It can aggravate pre-existing conditions, such as asthma and bronchitis.
Respiratory disorders and even cancer and strokes.
P3- Changes in the weather
Create abnormal rain and drought patterns.
Overheating.
Conclusion
We must become aware of the serious damage that factories cause by polluting our environment.
